The Ramsgate Hovercraft live at Ramsgate Music Hall, November 21st

nov-15-rmh-flyerThe Ramsgate Hovercraft will be performing live at Ramsgate Music Hall on Saturday 21st November. The line-up will include ace drummer Paula Frost and keyboard wizard Paul Naudin and the band will be joined by special guest Claire Dugué on hurdy-gurdy. The band will be performing tracks from their LPs Arcane Empire and Cinéma Vérité as well as new material. And we can’t wait to see Maggi Swallow’s Really Free Dance Ensemble who will be opening the show. And as if that wasn’t enough entry includes a free download of the band’s new EP Driftbreaker containing all new material. Tickets are available online and from Vinyl Head Café, Ramsgate.

Record Collector magazine loves The Hovercraft’s Cinéma Vérité

Record Collector magazine has given four stars to The Ramsgate Hovercraft’s new album Cinéma Vérité in a review in the current edition, describing it as “a sumptuous feast that not only soundtracks the deepest layers of the human condition, but serves as a wonderful reminder that music can take you places you’d never even dared imagine”. The Ramsgate Hovercraft: Cinéma Vérité now available on Spotify, Amazon

Thanks once again to the endeavours of our dear friends at sp8kauf, The Ramsgate Hovercraft’s latest album Cinéma Vérité is now available in digital edition. You can find it on Spotify, Amazon and other online music retail sites. The digital edition contains all the same tracks as the physical package, which you can still purchase online from Bandcamp or from selected east Kent record shops.

The video features Claire Dugué whose electric rock hurdy gurdy graces the vinyl and who will be joining the band on stage for the album launch party on 28th February at Ramsgate Music Hall.
